Is luck a skill?

Looking back on my life, i’d honestly say that i’m a lucky person.

on paper I’ve beaten every statistic you can think of…

I had a 1 in 4 chance of being arrested based on where I grew up and my background —yet it never happened.

i had a 6% chance of going d1 in football, and an even lower chance of being ranked top 20 in my state.

And I had a 2% chance of having 100k liquid before i turned 21.

I can’t attribute that success to anything but luck.

But the thought came to me today while I was spending this Sunday reflecting; why am I so lucky?

Is it because some other power just blessed me with something?

or was luck a learnable trait…

Because i’ve began to notice that whenever i take big bets that my gut tells me is right…

They pay off.

Big time.

for example, i dropped everything for the opportunity to go lead the copywriting and direct marketing for a $1B valuation startup…

With no guarantee that they’d want to work with me…

Got the call at 12am, booked a flight for 5am, got onboarded the next week.

just because i said “f*ck it” and believed it would work.

and after telling that story to a few people i truly believe luck comes down to just your positive expectations….

I’m not super woo-woo, but there is definitely something there when it comes to vibrations and frequencies…

And i think faith is one of those “higher” frequencies that just gives you great results.

Dont want to get too esoterical in this email, but just had these thoughts laying around in my head and felt it’d be good to share.
